Introduction to synthesis, isolation, purification, and characterization of organic compounds. A focus of this applied learning will be the theory, interpretation, and application of identifying compounds utilizing IR and NMR spectra.

Prerequisite(s): C- or better in CHM 3140 or CHM 315; CHM 3140 can be concurrent.
