An extensive study of yarn and fabric structures as they apply to apparel. Evaluation of textile properties that impact product quality, cost and end use selection. Emphasis on visual identifcation and analysis of yarn and fabric structures to scientifically predict performance outcomes.

Prerequisite(s): AMM 160 or AMM 1600; and AMM 160L or AMM 1600L.
