MTE 3381 - Kinetic Processes in Materials (3) Physical chemistry applied to materials engineering. Topics include: surfaces and interfaces; nucleation and growth theory; diffusional and non-diffusional transformations; precipitation from the solid solution, reaction kinetics, and introduction to non-equilibrium thermodynamics.
