GSC 3310L - Paleontology Laboratory (1)

Field and laboratory exercises emphasizing description and classification of fossil invertebrates and vertebrates. Morphological characteristics related to evolution. Interpretation and discussion of ancient environments and changes in life forms with time. Field trips to local museums and classic fossil locations of southern California and Nevada.

Prerequisite(s): GSC 112, GSC 1120, BIO 110, BIO 1110 , BIO 111L or BIO 1110L; and GSC 151L or GSC 1510L.
