Individual and independent research work based on the thesis proposal, plan and schedule approved by advisor. Regular meetings and discussions with advisor. May be taken up to two times for a total credit of 6 units.

Prerequisite(s): Graduate Standing; good academic standing; advancement to candidacy; completion of approved project proposal; and CE 690 or CE 6900.
