PLT 3200 - Agricultural Insect Pests (2)


Recognition and distribution of important insects and mites attacking agricultural crops such as the major field, cereal and truck crops, and citrus, avocado, deciduous fruit, small fruit, berries, grapes, and nut trees. Host preference and identification of damage to plant parts, seasonal history, habits and problems relating to pest management programs. 3 hours lecture/discussion.
