Federal and California Laws and Regulations affecting individuals, corporations, and agencies providing for the public health, safety and welfare; and protecting the environment including our natural resources. Emphasis on hazardous materials, ground water protection, pesticides, and pest control laws and regulation. Pesticide safety included. Function and structure of pertinent federal, state and county agencies and their enforcement practices as they relate to agribusiness, public health and pest control operations, including case studies. 3 hours lecture/discussion.
