Studies of physical, cultural, and political environmental patterns and trends in non-Russian Asia, including East Asia, South Asia, Southeast Asia, and Southwestern Asia. Emphasis on geographic characteristics in these regions and their connections to the rest of the world in the context of historical and current events and interests. 3 hours lecture/discussion.
