AVS 3305 - Animal Genetics (3)

An introductory course dealing with the basic genetics of all species of livestock and common companion animals. Emphasis will be placed on inherited abnormalities, traits of economic importance, conventional methods of dealing with these traits, and technologies of the future.

Prerequisite(s): BIO 115, BIO 1150, BIO 121 or BIO 1210; and BIO 115L, BIO 1150L, BIO 121L or BIO 1210L.
