AVS 1113 - Companion, Laboratory and Exotic Animal Care (2)

Instruction will cover the general concepts of handling and restraining domestic and exotic animals. Emphasis will be placed on behavior, management, nutrition, disease prevention, and breed identification. The care and use of laboratory animals will be covered in depth. May be taken up to two times for a total credit of 4 units.
