ECS 1100 - Child, Family and Community (3)

Examination of the developing child in a societal context, which focuses on the interrelationships of family, school, and community and emphasizes historical and socio- cultural factors. Application of selected theories to the analysis of family/community relationships. The processes of socialization and identity development with an emphasis on diversity will be highlighted.
