SPN 4330 - Gender in Hispanic Texts (3) The study of gender in Hispanic contexts as seen through literary and cultural texts. Trans-Atlantic and trans-historical. Depictions of women, gay men and lesbians read against depictions of straight masculinities. Close examination of poetry, prose, theater and other cultural texts.
