ENG 4881 - Race and Gender in Modern Literature (3)


The study of fiction, poetry, drama, and nonfiction in which both race and gender are present as major themes, strategies, or narrative effects. Works assigned by authors representing diverse backgrounds and literary approaches.

Prerequisite(s): ENG 312 and ENG 350; or ENG 3000  and ENG 3010 ; or ENG 355 or ENG 3110 .
