An introduction to the fundamental skills and principles of horticulture in the landscape. Includes an overview of laboratory aspects of basic classification, anatomy and physiology. Also included are practical applications of planting techniques, pruning, propagation, soils, irrigation, turfgrass and nursery/greenhouse techniques.
