MAT 1200 - Calculus for Life Sciences (3) Concepts of functions and the idea of change. Review of algebraic, rational, exponential, and logarithmic functions. Graphing, limits, derivatives, differentials, and integrals of single variable functions listed above. Optimization problems and the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus. Brief introduction to functions of several variables. Special emphasis is given to applications in life sciences.
