CHM 2120 - Chemistry for Elementary Educators (2)

An introduction to chemistry including: properties of materials, chemical changes, recognizing patterns in order to predict chemical behavior, and chemistry’s impact on modern society. Modeling of effective K-8 curriculum, teaching and assessment practices as described in the state adopted framework and content standards. Includes a fieldwork component. Fulfills GE Area B1.
