ECS 110 - Child Family and Community (4.5)

Examination of the developing child in a societal context, which focuses on the interrelationships of family, school, and community and emphasizes historical and socio-cultural factors. Application of selected theories to the analysis of family/community relationships. The processes of socialization and identity development with an emphasis on diversity will be highlighted. 4.5 lecture/discussion.
