ANT 475 - The Aztec: Art, Religion, and Society Aztec civilization of Postclassic (1250-1521) Central Mexico, through an analysis of art, primary documents, and archaeological sources. Discussion of more theoretical themes such as social organization, gender roles, political economy, empire, warfare and religion. Student research and presentations.
Prerequisite(s): Lower division GE Areas A, ANT 103 , or ANT 379 . Component(s): 4 hours seminar.
