TH 153/153L - Acting III (2/2) Theory and practice of acting, to explore techniques of performing monologues, scenes and one-act plays using the individual as an instrument for creative expression and encouraging research of theatre literature from diverse cultures. Includes vocal and physical aspects of characterization, and a range of roles, which stretch the actor’s instrument.
Prerequisite(s): TH 151/151L , TH 152/152L and consent of instructor. Corequisite(s): TH 153/153L. Component(s): 2 lectures/problem-solving, 2 three-hour laboratories. Repeatable: May be repeated once for credit by permission of instructor.
