Numerical methods in engineering. Algorithms. Interpolating polynomials, difference formulas, numerical differentiation and integration. Matrix methods. Nonlinear systems. Solution of differential equations. Applications to aerospace engineering problems. Working knowledge of a high-level computer language required.

Prerequisite(s): C or better in MAT 216 or MAT 224.
