Notes:


  • Taking more than one of the following courses is allowed; after the first one they will count as a corresponding emphasis course, but each can only be taken once: HST 4494 HST 4495 HST 4496 HST 4497 .
  • All new majors see the Department Chair for advisement.
  • Continuing Students should see their assigned faculty advisor one or more times per year.
  • Students desiring to pursue graduate study should take at least one foreign language for Area 3B.

Students must complete 3 units of writing-intensive coursework with a grade of C or higher. Students are eligible to take their UWR when they have completed 60 semester units.
