HRT 315 - Wines, Beers, and Spirits (4) The study of wine grapes, wine-making, and the evaluation of wine. Also includes initiation into the study of beer-making and the distillation of spirits. A thorough examination of the major wine grape varieties and world-wide appellations where they are grown. History, geography, economics, health and legal issues, as well as a thorough evaluation of wine and food, and managing wine in the business setting.
