Discussion and practice of the design, mechanics and style of geoscience written and oral presentations and posters. Writing effective conference abstracts, professional reports and theses. Literature search and critically evaluating sources. Data analysis and visualization. Writing-Intensive courses must be passed with a C or higher to count towards the University’s 3-unit Writing Requirement.

Prerequisite(s): Junior, senior, or graduate standing.
