BIO 4200L - Neuroscience II: Systems Neuroscience Laboratory (1) Laboratory investigations of the detailed structural and functional organization of the human brain, spinal cord and peripheral nervous system, as well as the more primitive sensory systems of insect model systems. Sensory and motor pathways, and the special sensory pathways associated with touch, smell, vision, hearing, balance and taste is covered. Neurological approaches used to localize brain and spinal cord lesions by triangulation is taught. Designed for students destined for professions in the health field and for students interested in going into neuroscience research.
