AHS 2210 - Veterinary Office Procedures, Terminology and Law (3)


Introduction to veterinary terminology and its usage in the veterinary field. The application of rules, guidelines and regulations of federal, state, county, municipal and local governments as well as OSHA/safety requirements, licensing and documentation requirements are discussed. Per university policy, students must receive a C- (1.7) or better in this course to advance in the Animal Health Science program. 3 hours lecture. May be taken up to three times for a total credit of 9 units.

Prerequisite(s):  AHS 104 or AHS 1104 .
Corequisite(s): AHS 2202  and AHS 2202L .
