MHR 4410 - Internship in Business Management (1-2) Internship is the integration of classroom theory and practical experience in a planned apprenticeship program. The intern program is based upon the interest and needs of both the student and the employer. The student’s work should be related to his/her field of study and individual interest within the field. The working experience will ideally increase in difficulty as the student progresses through the academic curriculum. Ultimately, the internship is a collaborative agreement involving the internship coordinator, student, and the employer to provide a meaningful and relevant work experience to benefit the company as well as enhance the student’s career development. 18-35 hours of internship work per week. May be taken up to five times for a total credit of 10 units.
Prerequisite(s): Instructor consent and completion Cal Poly’s internship documentation and 18-35 hours of internship work per week.
