Representing, modeling, processing and analyzing social information. Graph based techniques for social network analysis, community detection, influence spread and centrality analysis. Models for application domains such as social media, epidemiology, and political science. Parallel and distributed tools for large scale modeling and analysis.

Prerequisite(s): C or better in CS 2400 or CS 2410, or consent of instructor.
