Topics may include membrane physics, the relationship between blood flow and metabolic scaling laws, diffusion and random walks, and a unified treatment of heat, fluid, solute, and electrical transport in biological systems.

Prerequisite(s): C- or better in PHY 123, PHY 133, PHY 1220 , or PHY 1520 .
