PHY 2120 - Physical Science for Elementary Educators (2)


Introduction to physical science concepts including forces, matter and its interactions, energy, physical properties of materials, physical changes, chemical reactions, conservation of mass, small particle theory, and wave properties and applications. Modeling of effective K-8 curriculum, teaching, and assessment practices as described in the state adopted framework and content standards. The course includes a fieldwork component.
