LA 2451 - Plant Ecology and Design II (3)The continuation and refinement of the study of plant ecology and design relevant to the profession of landscape architecture covered in LA 2441. Special emphasis is placed upon the study and application of plant ecology and design in urban, novel and disturbed ecosystems. Introduction to the challenges encountered in urban ecosystems with a focus on sustainable and resource-efficient planting design. Identification of plant species adapted to urban conditions.
