URP 335/335A - Urban Land Use Planning and Theory (3/1)


Reviews macro-level land use shifts in metropolitan areas, focusing on problems of housing, transportation and the environment. Emphasis on spatio-economic/demographic patterns and dynamics between urban centers and suburbs as well as between metropolitan and nonmetropolitan areas in the United States during the 20th century.

Prerequisite(s): URP 331/331L  with a minimum grade of C- or permission of instructor.
Concurrent: Concurrent enrollment required.
