TH 425/425A - Community-based Theatre (3/1)

A course examining the development of community-based theatre in the United States and its effect on social/political dialogue within communities. Examination of its development, history and cultural significance within the broad spectrum of U.S. society through performance techniques. Courses fulfill GE Interdisciplinary Synthesis C4 or D4.

Prerequisite(s): Completion of GE Area A, GE Area C (1, 2, and 3), and GE Area D (1, 2, and 3).
Component(s): 3 hours lecture, 1 two-hour activity.
