ARC 321/321A - Structures 1 (3/1) Theories of structural design and the relationship of structure to form, function, and economics. Analysis of structural systems, including the determination of forces and stresses.
Prerequisite(s): Undergraduate in architecture, MAT 106 or MAT 114 , MAT 115 , MAT 116 , and PHY 121 /PHY 121L , and a grade of C or better in ARC 203/203L (lecture component), or graduate standing in architecture. Concurrent: Concurrent enrollment required. Component(s): 3 one-hour lectures, 1 one-hour discussion.
